The small cottage at Nant yr Onnen, which means Ash (tree) on the Stream was built in 1791. It was linked at that time with the adjoining farm, and later became a small holding in its own right. The previous owner to us successfully bred rare breed poultry.
In 2016 Jerry & Paula moved into the very run-down and overgrown Nant Yr Onnen, and in 2020 after much hard work and generous help from family and friends, ‘Irfon Valley Pods & Camping’ was opened with the first 2 pods.
Our ethos is very much Christian based. We are non - denominational, having a personal relationship with God the Father, made possible by Jesus Christ. We believe the Holy Bible is the word of God, and that the Holy Spirit teaches and guides us through life.
In this difficult world, we find it a tremendous blessing to be able to rely on God. There may sometimes be fellowship meetings, worship events or pilgrim suppers here that are open to all, and you are welcome to join us should you wish for these or other Christian events locally.
